The Brazilians are well on course to secure a consecutive sixth consecutive league title and Mokwena, who is undefeated since stepping up to the role of head coach late last year, was asked if he would ever consider contributing to Bafana Bafana as an assistant coach while remaining head coach at Sundowns.
"At this moment in time my focus is on Mamelodi Sundowns and trying to do the best that I can from this football club and that’s where my focus and energy lie," added Mokwena. The Bafana Bafana are set to report to camp on Sunday to begin preparations for back-to-back Afcon qualifiers against Liberia.
