😔 Following Egypt's failure to qualify for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Mohamed Salah's emotional speech to his teammates in the dressing room after their defeat to Senegal has been revealed. SLInt MORE:
In a dressing room speech to his international colleagues, Salah said he was proud of the application of his teammates, but ended by suggesting that his time with the side could be over.
"I told you before the second leg that I'm proud to play with you and you're some of the most dedicated players I played with," Salah said in a video published by the spokesperson of Egypt's Ministry of Youth and Sports, according to"I played with the previous generation with Wael Gomaa and Mohamed Aboutrika, then with Abdallah El-Said and the following generation. And I can say that I'm happy with the current generation.
"I'm proud to have played with you and what happened was out of our control because they were penalty shootouts, and for the second time. "There's not much I can say, but it was a privilege to play alongside you, whether I'll be here or not afterward."from Senegalese supporters on Tuesday, while his exit from the field following their shootout loss proved arguably the most hostile moment of the encounter.
Security protected the Premier League star as he made his way down the tunnel, but that did not stop fans from pelting objects at him as he covered his head and made his way to the changing room.
