MLB has suspended Chris Archer, Yasiel Puig and David Bell after a bench-clearing fight between the Reds and Pirates.
Archer was suspended five games for intentionally throwing a pitch at Reds outfielder Derek Dietrich after Dietrich admired a home run earlier in the game. Archer can appeal the ban.
Puig seemingly took exception to the play and was suspended for two games for his actions. His suspension starts Tuesday as the Reds are in Miami to take on the Marlins. Bell received a one-game ban after furiously storming the field following the pitch. He will serve his suspension Tuesday against Miami as well.
