Ex-MK Party secretary-general Sifiso Maseko raked in millions while sitting at home, after he was suspended by Gauteng Health in 2022.
UMkhonto weSizwe Party secretary-general Dr Sifiso Maseko has resigned. He is reportedly set to return to his former position as head of infrastructure development in the Gauteng Department of Health.since the organisation’s launch on 16 December 2023, following Arthur Zwane, Sihle Ngubane, and Thanduxolo “Gorbachev” Dyodo. He served in the position for four months.
Maseko, along with eight other government officials, were suspended between 25 January 2022 and 1 February 2022, after a recommendation by the Special Investigating Unit The SIU probed irregular procurement of personal protective equipment by the GDH during the National State of Disaster from various service providers.
The SIU recommended that disciplinary and criminal action be taken against three GDH officials, which include Maseko , and six officials from the Gauteng Department of Infrastructure Development .Local is lekker!
