MK Party ready for last-minute talks with IFP about KZN coalition deal
The MK Party of which former president Jacob Zuma is a leader, has invited the IFP to discuss a possible coalition agreement.
According to a person close to the developments, the two parties were in an online, mid-morning meeting on Wednesday. But, in a recent interview with SAFM, IFP president Velenkosini Hlabisa didn't rule out coalition talks with the MK Party, and said the party hadn't spoken to the MK Party because it was still disputing the election outcomes.
IFP spokesperson Mkhuleko Hlengwa did not respond to News24's questions on whether the party had received the invitation from Ngubane. We live in a world where facts and fiction get blurred
