The MK Party has defended their deputy president, John Hlope, after he was barred from serving on the Judicial Service Commission (JSC). Hlope's appointment was challenged by NGOs Freedom Under Law and Corruption Watch due to his previous impeachment. The MK Party argues that Hlope's experience as a former Judge President makes him suitable for the JSC role.
