A new housing development is bring proposed on the west side of Brighton.
At a meeting Monday Brighton’s planning committee will invite public comment on a medium sized subdivision off of Ontario Street. What’s being called the Westgate Subdivision would be built on 5.29 hectares and consist of 21 single detached homes, 28 semi-detached dwellings, and 24 6-plex buildings with a total of 73 apartments.
A house and a garage currently stand on the property with the rest being used for agricultural purposes.
