South Africa n motorists are in for a mix of fuel price changes this December , featuring a slight reduction in petrol prices, but significant increases for diesel and illuminating paraffin. According to the CEF’s data, ULP95 is expected to decrease by around five cents per liter, while ULP93 is set to drop by approximately 16 cents per liter. However, diesel prices are expected to rise by 40 cents per liter, and illuminating paraffin will increase by around 39 cents per liter.
The AA notes that international petrol prices have been declining, leading to expected decreases in South African petrol prices. However, diesel prices continue to rise. The AA also advises South Africans to ensure their vehicles are in good condition and their state of mind is ready for safe road sharing during the festive season
