This follows a flare-up of gang related shootings in the area which left seven people dead and seven injured last week.
CAPE TOWN - The Mitchells Plain Community Policing Forum says it's happy with the Western Cape government's draft intervention plan to tackle gang violence in the area.
Mitchells Plain CPF chairperson, Norman Jantjies, said various community organisations are studying the Western Cape government's draft gang intervention plan for the area, before giving feedback next week. MEC for Police Oversight and Community Safety, Anroux Marais, said the CPF played a role in devising the plan.
