CLEVELAND, Ohio - A mistrial was declared Monday in Cuyahoga County Court of Common Pleas for the three remaining suspects charged in connection with the kidnapping, torture and murder of Alishah Pointer, 22.

Their jury trial began on March 6 in front of Judge John Russo. According to the Cuyahoga County prosecutor, the mistrial was granted due to a “communication error.” A new trial date has not yet been set. Nathaniel Poke Jr. pleaded guilty to the charges of involuntary manslaughter, kidnapping and conspiracy. He will be sentenced on March 27.Henderson pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter, kidnapping and conspiracy. Williams pleaded guilty to aggravated murder, kidnapping and conspiracy. Their sentencing is also scheduled for March 27.According to new court documents, on Nov. 4, 2021, Henderson, Williams, Poke Jr.
