The 59-year-old was reported missing earlier this week by her family
Lynn-Marie was last seen by her family on Monday, October 23, at around 2pm. A day later, Merseyside police put out a missing person appeal for the 59-year-old from West Derby.
Officers have now confirmed that Lynn-Marie was found dead in at around 8pm on Tuesday, October 24, in the supermarket car park on Utting Avenue, Walton. Lynn-Marie's death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner. A spokesperson for Merseyside police said: "We can confirm that a woman who was found in a parked car in a car park on Utting Avenue in Walton last night, Tuesday 24th October, was missing Lynn-Marie McCoy.
"Mrs McCoy, 59, was last seen in West Derby on the afternoon of Monday 23rd October. Her death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner."
