Cops have launched an urgent search for a Scots man after he vanished while walking towards woodlands during the heavy rainfall last night
.
It is believed the 27-year-old was walking along the B874 road at the Glengolly junction and heading in the direction of the woodland section of Glengolly. Police say due to weather conditions they are 'growing increasingly' concerned for his welfare and urge anyone with information to contact them.A Police Scotland Spokesperson said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for Eddie following him failing to return home last night and the recent inclement weather in the area.
