It comes a day after her daughter's body was found on Noordhoek Beach.
Susanna Rademeyer Jacobs, also known as Soekie, was last seen leaving her home in an e-hailing taxi at about 2pm on October 29 with her daughter Melissa Jacobs, 26, and her Yorkshire terrier, Shauna.
According to Nana Rechner, director of The Pink Ladies, the mother was wearing blue jeans and a grey jacket when she went missing.A search that included residents, police and the National Sea Rescue Institute was initiated.According to investigating officer Detective Sergeant Dawid Steenkamp, at about 10am on Wednesday Jacobs's body and her dog Shauna were found.“A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death and the investigation continues.
