RCMP said there were reports on Thursday evening the couple had been found or were in contact with friends.
They were reported to be driving a white 2019 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup truck with an Alberta licence plate and towing a fifth-wheel travel trailer, RCMP said. The trailer is about 30 feet long.Owen and Susan Konski were believed missing somewhere between Whitehorse and Alberta.RCMP said their family had not heard from them since July 19 and were concerned for their safety.
The couple was believed to be travelling back to Alberta from the Yukon through northern B.C. and police patrolled in areas along the highway, following up on other leads without any luck finding the couple.What happens when a person goes missing in B.C.? – Sep 21, 2020In a Friday statement, “Police can’t officially close a missing person investigation until we have had direct contact with the person reported missing,” the statement read.
