Calgary police said Thursday that after tirelessly trying to find answers about her disappearance, it is believed she was the victim of a homicide.Tammie Doreen Howard — who also went by the name Irish — was last heard from on Dec. 24, 2016. Her family reported her as missing in April 2017.

Investigators believe a light-coloured Jeep Wrangler was connected to Howard's death. They released a stock photo of one as they seek tips from the public.
