Miss World SA pageant kicks off at 6pm
The 2023 Miss World South Africa crown is named Peo and is designed by Soweto jewellery designer Nqobile Nkosi.
Shortly before the country tunes in to see the Springboks take on the All Blacks, South Africa can see who takes home the Miss World South Africa crown in Saturday night's final. The winner will be selected by a judging panel that includes experts in their fields who have a love for pageantry - judges like Daniel Asiwe , Dato Tiffanee Marie Lim , Dr Norman Cahi, Ava Hall, Sithembile Ntombela, Realeboga Malatji and Dr Rolene Strauss, all from South Africa.
She proudly highlighted the fact that the finalists come from varied backgrounds and experiences, including two doctors and a lawyer. According to the pageant's organisers, Miss World South Africa will join contestants from more than 130 countries in India to showcase her unique talents, intelligence, and compassion in the 71st Miss World edition, which promises to be an extraordinary platform that celebrates the essence of beauty, diversity, and empowerment.
