Minnie Dlamini and husband had been apart for over a year before announcing their divorce
In a statement released on Instagram, Dlamini revealed that they had started having problems two years ago, following “devastating loss” that led to “emotional burden” and “post-traumatic distress”.
“Despite our better efforts to absorb the changes in motion, the emotional burden and the post-traumatic distress of our individual loss outweighed our will,” the couple shared.Sources close to the HomeGround sports show presenter revealed that cracks had started showing in the star’s marriage after she moved into her new home in the exclusive Copperleaf Golf Estate in Centurion over a year ago.When Minnie moved into that house, she did not move in with Quinton.
Another source added that the pair had had to push a united front when they arranged their son Netha’s first birthday party at the Jaguar Land Rover Experience facility last year. In their statement, they say they will remain good friends and parents to their son. “After months of separation and consultations with our family and a counsellor, we have taken the decision to officially file for divorce. Despite the end of our marriage and romantic relationship, we remain friends, business partners and loving parents to our beautiful son.
