CARETAKER-MANAGER Kevin McDonald is facing arguably the biggest selection call of his Bradford City tenure so far – and all revolves around him.
The Scot has impressed many onlookers with his decision-making in his four matches in charge thus far in League Two and the Papa John's Trophy, with City winning three matches and drawing the other. The 34-year-old, who joined the club on a two-year playing contract in the summer, has selected himself just once so far in the Trophy win at Grimsby.
'I took myself away from playing to a certain extent. 'But this is something we’ll have to think about and see what the best options are for us. 'There are a couple out suspended, Richie and Jamie, so that’s two players missing who have been really good for us. 'We’ve got decisions to make, but that’s part of it. We’ve got a big squad with people on the bench and others who have missed out.
