Police are investigating after a man was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in south Leeds.
It happened at about 8pm on Saturday, October 21, when a Range Rover Evoque which was travelling towards Fountain Street, was in collision with a pedestrian on Middleton Road in Morley. The vehicle did not stop at the scene. The man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. His condition today is said to be stable and the vehicle has been located.
A 30-year-old man from Leeds has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who has footage which may assist police is asked to contact the Roads Policing Unit on 101, or by using the 101LiveChat facility on the West Yorkshire Police website. The log reference is 1572 of October 21.
