Microsoft has addressed how adding games to Game Pass can cause a 'cannibalisation' of buy-to-play sales, according to a Competition & Markets Authority report.
Microsoft's own internal documents note a"decline" in base game sales following additions to Game Pass, describing a"cannibalisation of B2P sales." [updated]Xbox Game Pass offers gamers and game creators more choice and opportunity in how they discover, experience, and deliver games. For gamers, that means providing another option for them to discover games and play with friends at a great value.
