Former Liverpool forward Michael Owen has been speaking about his old club
Michael Owen believes Liverpool supporters should remain patient and delivered his verdict on whether his old club can challenge Manchester City for the Premier League title.
And now, as Jurgen Klopp’s side prepares to return to action against Everton on Saturday, they do so just three points off top spot and unbeaten in their Europa League group campaign. But while Owen believes his side still might not have enough to topple City this season, he does believe Liverpool supporters should stay patient, as their side is in a good place.
“Man City have been pretty relentless in how good they've been, and Liverpool were up there matching strides with them for years and years.
