With breakfast the most important meal of the day, Michael Mosley has shared the healthy ingredient he adds to his eggs.
The advice comes from Michael's book Just One Thing, published in The Sunday Times, in which he detailed 16 steps to improve your life. One of his simplest pieces of advice comes down to breakfast. He writes: "With my breakfast eggs I often eat a big dollop of homemade sauerkraut, which is bursting with beneficial bacteria."
"You can buy sauerkraut, kombucha and kefir in large supermarkets, but do check they contain live bacteria," he adds. Luckily, all three ingredients can be picked up in major UK supermarkets.
