Nuggets coach Michael Malone believes that despite his team having the home-court advantage, Warriors fans will continue to play an impact, even on the road.
"Well, I imagine this place is going to be half-full of Warriors fans tomorrow night to be quite honest," Malone told reporters on Tuesday."That's just every time we play them that just seems to be the case. But it is great to be home, it is great to be playing in front of our fans and hopefully the comfort of that. But the reality is, in the regular season, we were not a great home team. It's not like we can say 'we're home' and rely solely upon that.
As Malone mentioned, the Nuggets were not a great home team. Denver posted an uninspiring 23-18 record at Ball Arena this season as opposed to their 25-16 record on the road.
