Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin has been pulled from any scheduled Super Bowl coverage for the rest of the week after a woman complained about his conduct Sunday evening in Arizona, according to Dallas Morning News.

According to Dallas Morning News, Irvin spoke with the media outlet on the phone about the interaction that took place after a dinner and drinks with former Cowboys safety Michael Brooks. Irvin said he was back at the hotel he was staying at when he met the woman and struck up a conversation that lasted about “45 seconds.” According to Irvin, they then shook hands and went their separate ways.
Irvin told Dallas Morning News there is footage of the interaction in the lobby but he hasn’t seen it. He appeared in NFL Network’s Monday coverage of the Super Bowl Opening Night ceremony and then was approached by NFL Media officials afterward off-air about the encounter. Glendale, Arizona, police and other local agencies said on Tuesday they were not aware of any incidents related to Irvin, according to the Dallas Morning News.
Irvin was scheduled to appear on ESPN’s sport debate show "First Take" alongside host Stephen A. Smith and Molly Qerim, but has been pulled as a guest since.LATEST NEWS
