Metallica call use of Master of Puppets in Stranger Things 4 'an incredible honour'

Eddie, being a heavy metal fan, opts for a glorious rendition of the song to lure the demo bats toward them, and it obviously works., Metallica – comprised of James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, Kirk Hammett, and Robert Trujillo – shared a statement regarding the use of their song. The foursome praised the Duffer Brothers for the"next level" way they incorporate music into the series.
The band further reveals that the scene was filmed so well that"some folks were able to guess the song just by seeing a few seconds of Joseph Quinn's hands in the trailer." They concluded,"It's an incredible honour to be such a big part of Eddie's journey and to once again be keeping company with all of the other amazing artists featured in the show."
