Met suspends Chris Kaba cop by Vic Motune
Suspension comes a week after fatal shooting of unarmed 24-year-old in south London and growing pressure from the community
Kaba, 24, who was expecting a child and had accepted an apprenticeship to become an architect, was shot dead last Monday in Streatham, south London, after his car was contained by police vehicles. The statement continued: “Our thoughts and sympathies remain with Mr Kaba’s family and friends. We understand how concerned communities are, particularly black communities, and thank those who are working closely with our local officers.”
