Roads affected overnight
Forecasters say the strongest wind was recorded at Orlock in Co Down.In a statement issued in the early hours of Saturday morning, a PSNI spokesman said: “Please be advised of disruption on roads across Belfast due to the current weather conditions. A number of roads are flooded or impassable, including the Upper Knockbreda Road, Castlereagh Road and Loughview Road areas.
As of 8am on Saturday morning Upper Knockbreda Road is clear. Belfast Live has asked police for an update on roads across Northern Ireland this morning.
