Pollen maps from the Met Office show that levels will be ‘moderate’ across Yorkshire on Thursday, April 4 and Friday, April 5 with Birch tree pollen affecting the south of the region. Symptoms are set to worsen at the weekend, as pollen levels reach ‘high’ across Yorkshire on Saturday, April 6, before dropping down to moderate levels again on Sunday, April 7.
Thursday Staying cloudy for much of the day, becoming drier through the morning and hill fog lifting. Rain arrives in the evening, becoming heavy at times overnight and turning increasingly breezy. Maximum temperature 9 °C.
