The warning covers Huddersfield, Sheffield, Leeds and Wakefield as well as North Yorkshire
Following a period of warm and sunny weather the Met Office is now predicting it will come to an end with heavy showers, thunderstorms which could cause disruption to travel and lead to some flooding. They said there is a small chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life, particularly in places such as road and railway underpasses.
