Met Eireann have issued a thunderstorm warning for 19 counties that has come into effect immediately.
The warning is in place for Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford and Leitrim.In the alert on the Met Eireann website, they write: "Localised thunderstorms for a time this eveningIt comes as we can expect a wet and blustery weekend after a sunny and mainly dry couple of days.
