WEATHER ALERT - 'Intense downpours' and 'thunder and lightning' this evening
Met Eireann have issued a Status Yellow thunderstorm warning for six counties in the south of Ireland this evening.
Unfortunately, the weather is showing no signs of improvement with 'unsettled' weather and rain forecast for the next few days. Monday, July 17 Monday will bring a mix of sunny spells and scattered showers. It will turn mostly cloudy in the southwest in the evening with rain developing here towards the end of the day. Highs of 17 to 19 degrees with a light, occasionally moderate, westerly breeze.
