COVID may have disrupted business and the workplace, but it has brought significant benefits to working women.

Women can now advance their careers while working from home with flexible hours. For many women, no more wasted hours in traffic jams. No more anxiety over having to take a sick child to the doctor during office hours. No more staying in the office into the night to impress the boss.

According to the national management consulting firm McKinsey, women with children were at the top of the list of those who left the workplace in 2020. That’s understandable. Generally, mothers are still the primary caregivers in most homes, and with kids out of school and many of them getting sick, work as usual was no longer sustainable.
