AKRON, Ohio — Two men were killed in separate shootings over the weekend, police say, with both victims found in their vehicles.

Officers were called to Channelwood Village on the 700 block of Dunbar Drive at about 7:35 a.m. after a woman found her vehicle riddled with bullets and a 31-year-old male dead inside. The Summit County Medical Examiner’s Office says the victim, William Hackney of Akron, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they’re still trying to determine what led to the shooting. No arrests have been reported. At 12:13 a.m. Sunday, police say a 24-year-old man was found shot inside a parked car on the 700 block of Dayton Street in the North Hill neighborhood. The victim, identified by the Medical Examiner’s Office as Akron resident Tha Soe, was taken to Summa Health Akron City Hospital, but he died of his wounds.Anyone with information can call detectives at 330-375-2490 or Summit County Crimestoppers at 330-434-COPS.
