Meghan Markle is about to make her BBC debut as Suits – the US legal drama that made her famous – is set to stream on iPlayer
The broadcaster has bought the rights to all nine series of the US legal drama that made Meghan famous before she joined the Royal Family. Suits starred the Duchess of Sussex as paralegal Rachel Zane, but the US star gave up her acting career after marrying Prince Harry.
This will be the first time that Suits has been available to watch on the BBC when it joins iPlayer as a box set along with two other US series, St. Denis Medical and The Best Man: The Final Chapters. Sue Deeks, head of BBC programme acquisition, said: "This is a really exciting and enjoyable trio of star-studded series: the hotly-anticipated comedy, St. Denis Medical, the sassy, romantic comedy-drama, The Best Man: The Final Chapters, and the smart and stylish legal drama, Suits. We couldn’t be more delighted to bring them all to BBC viewers."
