Megan Thee Stallion opened up about overcoming struggles to become successful as a Black female artist in the music industry
In order to become one of the music industry’s biggest stars, Megan Thee Stallion had to overcome her fair share of obstacles.
Back in October 2023, Megan Thee Stallion revealed that she had parted ways with her former label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, after years of legal battles over the distribution of her work. Last month, she signed a new deal with Warner Music Group allowing her to continue to release music through her company, Hot Girl Productions, as well as utilize Warner Music Group’s resources to distribute and promote her work.
She continued: “It doesn’t matter how you get there, as long as you take the journey, and you don’t quit. Because if I would’ve quit, I would’ve never made it here.” She went on to tease that she’s “coming up with some things for thee hotties,” adding, “ Megan Thee Stallion.
