One new arrival was born just after midnight meaning that she could potentially be the first Christmas Day baby in Scotland this year
While dad Calum was at the hospital with Nicola today, the family says there is one person in particular who can't wait to be introduced to baby Robyn.“We’ve been telling her that Santa is going to bring her a little sister for ages and this is her finally arriving.”Nicola continued: “It was a bit unexpected for her to be born on Christmas day but it’s quite nice and special.
It’s been a long night for parents Hannah and Scott, from Busby, but this morning they too were eager to introduce their firstborn to a new sibling.Scott said: “Sunny has a big sister Maisie who will be buzzing to see her.“It’s special to have a child at any time of the year but it feels extra special to know that it was on Christmas Day.Elsewhere in Glasgow, Chloe McKee gave birth to 8lb 11oz son Rio at 3.16am in the Princess Royal Maternity Unit at Glasgow Royal Infirmary.
