program: the Gen Next Innovators. The motorola razr has been a fun fashion staple since its inception, and to continue the brand’s presence and support of the fashion industry, Motorola is joining in on the celebration of emerging designers and celebrating the next wave of designers. Judges reviewed various designs before choosing the six additional winners, the Innovators.
Over the years, the razr has established itself as a unique fashion statement and culture icon in its own right, and now these talented designers will have the opportunity to capture the appeal of the motorola razr in their own eyes with fashion-forward designs that uniquely integrate the device into prompted design concepts. Overwhelmed by the amount of talent from this year's applicants,style team and Editor-in-Chief Versha Sharma couldn't help but add to the list of winners.
Sharma adds: "We are so excited to be able to support six more young designers thanks to motorola razr and to celebrate with an event during Fashion Month. These innovators stood out to us with their experimental designs and inventive use of materials, including fabrics, textures, even the incorporation of sculptures. These designers are also defining innovation in a sustainable way with the upcycling of clothing and jewelry, which is so important in this day and age.
Jodie Turner-Smith and Joshua Jackson, actors, changemakers, and motorola razr ambassadors, are thrilled to be involved with Generation Next as well. In a statement, they said, "We’re so excited to be partnering with motorola razr to support the next generation of fashion designers.
