The source of the flood has been 'identified and contained' the hospital trust says.

BBC News, West MidlandsThe Princess Royal Hospital, Telford, was working to assess the damage and restore services, said Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust.Plans were in place to minimise disruption but there might be a delay in results as the most urgent clinical cases were prioritised, they said.The laboratories carries out tests in order to help medical staff in areas such as diagnosis and treatments.

"All other services at the Princess Royal Hospital, including the emergency department, remain open," the trust said."We would like to apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank people for their patience during this time."
