The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the man killed in a shooting outside a Southwest Side bar late Sunday night.
Felipe Pena, 51, was shot and killed around 11:30 p.m. outside the Morales Ice House in the 900 block of Frio City Road, not far from Highway 90 and South Calavaras Street.
According to police, Pena was shot while in the parking lot outside the bar. Pena then somehow made it back inside the bar before collapsing.Police said officers detained a suspect in another part of town who may be responsible for the shooting. A name and age of the person was not given. The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all responded to the call.About the Author:
