Limpopo MEC for Transport and Community Safety, Violet Mathye, has today, Sunday, 14 July 2024, went to Calais, Ward 13 of the Maruleng Local Municipality, to visit the Shiluvane family, who lost four children in a blaze of fire on Friday Evening.

According to reports, the children died in a fire that gutted their one roomed house, as their mother had left them to make preparations for her eldest son, who was to graduate from an initiation school, this weekend. MEC Mathye has expressed messages of condolences to the family, on behalf of the Provincial Government.
