This time, Mdluli had not yet responded to an unreasonable delay application by the State.s decision not to fund his criminal trial.
Mdluli, former CI supply chain manager Heine Barnard, and former chief financial officer of the State Security Agency Solomon Lazarus appeared in the North Gauteng High Court in Pretoria on Wednesday. The case against Mdluli has been postponed several times over the years. More recently, a warrant of arrest had been issued for Mdluli, who failed to appear in court on several occasions, even though he was in custody.
