Once again, Scotland fans were sent into raptures, with two Premier League stars putting club allegiances aside to combine to stunning effect for their country. McTominay, who has had limited game time at United this season, has now scored five international goals in 38 appearances – four of them coming in the last week.Scotland held on comfortably until the final whistle, claiming an outstanding win to keep them top of their qualifying group as they set their sights on next year’s tournament in Germany.
