Commencing with Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre pointing out in French increasing government debt and growing numbers of Canadians resorting to social services like food banks, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responded by reminding the house of his party’s 2015 election promise about investing in the middle class, and put the blame on the opposition parties for daring to challenge government policy.
