"We don't want to be reliant on China anymore, and we don't want to be reliant on their supply chain. And we sure as heck don't want to be selling them technology that they will use in their advanced weapons system to turn back as a threat to the United States," he said.McCaul's remarks come days after a Chinese surveillance balloon was shot down by the Air Force.
