MELAKA: MCA will set a new key performance index (KPI) on member recruitment for state party chiefs, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.
The MCA president said to start, he has set a target of 1,000 new young members for party leaders in Melaka."This will also provide a line of succession for the party's future," he said after opening the Melaka MCA convention at a restaurant in Kota Laksamana here on Sunday .
Dr Wee said currently, MCA had about 70,000 members under the age of 40 and this should be increased steadily to complement the party's rejuvenation process.
