Insurance fraud-accused siblings will be spending Christmas home after being released on bail
Mbele siblings granted R800 bail in insurance fraud caseCape Town-Mbele siblings accused of insurance claim fraud were released on bail at the Athlone Magistrate’s Court on 3 December.
Le Keur said while murder is the main charge investigated, the siblings had a clean criminal record and had no murder charges. Jean van Niekerk, convenor of the ASISA Forensic Standing Committee, said the trend of insurance-related murders is alarming.
