After a decade of silence, former President Thabo Mbeki has denied court findings that his administration interfered in the prosecution of apartheid crimes. Black Consciousness leader Steve Biko was just 30 years old when he died in the custody of South Africa's apartheid police force, which had initially and falsely tried to present his death as the result of a hunger strike.
