It seems Kylian Mbappe is not happy at Paris Saint-Germain after the French superstar reportedly deleted a social media post featuring a cryptic dig at the club following their 0-0 draw with Stade de Reims. SLInt MORE:
On Saturday, PSG dropped points in the league for only the second time this season when they were held to a goalless draw at the Stade Auguste-Delaune.
The French champions started the match without Lionel Messi, who is nursing a calf injury, and Neymar, who was named on the bench, which meant that Mbappe was the only member of the famous attacking trident who featured in the Ligue 1 encounter from the first minute. The 23-year-old started up front with Carles Soler and Pablo Sarabia either side of him, but none of them were able to penetrate the Reims defence.
With Mbappe said to be visibly frustrated following the final whistle as he had failed to add to his eight league goals this season, after the game he reportedly posted a picture of himself with the hashtag"pivot gang" on Instagram., that is a reference to the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner wanting play with a striker up front, one who is more of a target man and who can be used as a reference point.
During the latest international break, Mbappe made it known that he prefers playing for his national team because he feels he has more freedom playing alongside Olivier Giroud., the PSG and Les Bleus forward is not happy with his club because he is playing in a position that does not correspond with the one that was promised to him when he signed his extension earlier this year.
