Following the Manchester City striker's incredible 2022/23 season in which he won the treble, scoring 52 goals in his first season at the English club. Mbappe was the face of FIFA 23, FIFA 22 and FIFA 21 and it looked likely that he'd be the face of EA FC 24 as well.revealed that EA decided not to renew Mbappe's contract because his club, PSG, was asked to provide the players it would like to see represent it in official EA FC 24 marketing material – and instead of their talisman Mbappe, players like Lee Kang-In, Marco Asensio and Marquinhos were chosen.
