City council’s first regular meeting is to be pushed back to Nov. 28.
Prince George’s new mayor and city council will be sworn in on Monday night at their inaugural meeting.
One of the first orders of business for the newly-sworn-in council will be to postpone their first regular meeting by a week. City council was expected to hold its first regular meeting on Nov. 21, however a report going before city council on Monday recommends that the meeting be pushed back to Nov. 28.
Also up for consideration on Monday will be approval of the 2023 city council meeting schedule, which includes the new council’s first budget meetings on Jan. 30 and Feb. 1, 2023.
